Online Protection: Deflecting Evil Eye on Social Media 🧿🗡️
Safety is important in all aspects of life, and this includes spiritual protection. When you post online it can be a “portal” for people to send you negative energies, so here are some spiritual/witchy ways to ward and protect yourself from bad energy in online spaces!
The gaze of others can affect us, even if it doesn’t internally, it can physically, so here are a few tips on how I keep myself safe in a witchy way on social media!
If you desire to learn more about evil eye, even outside of protection from it social media I offer free access to my “Evil Eye: Decoding the Quiet Curse” Ebook to those who join my email list through the pop up on my site! 🧿
1. Don’t reveal all of your wards and protection spells, EVEN IF you teach about witchcraft like me, you never know who you can touch. Keep wards that you don’t speak about or tell others about at all, that way they won’t be aware of all your protections, which makes it harder to break those spiritual barriers.
2. Include protective symbols and sigils within your content, whether that's a sigil as a watermark or a sigil as a profile picture, this is a HUGE HELP when it comes to protecting yourself online. The sigils don’t even have to be visible either (0% transparency)
3. Put up divination wards and name wards so people online cannot divine on you, or have access to use your name and negative words in the same sentence. (name ward will be available here on my page AND blog soon)
4. This may seem silly, but, keep selenite next to or on your phone while you charge it, to cleanse it of negative energy, I would also keep a protective crystal like tourmaline nearby as well!
5. Enchant your jewelry for protection from negative energy, both in person AND online, then wear that jewelry when you take pictures or film videos to make sure you get a positive/high vibe response!
6. Be open to using subtle symbolism that transmutes negative gazes to positive success. This can be done using a sigil that is placed behind the picture you post, or even using the “🧿” + “ 🔄” emojis to deflect and transmute
7. In many cultures, wearing a red cord or string on your wrist can protect you from the “evil eye” or unwanted negative energy. I recommend doing this when you create and post content online!
8. Post Prayers like “Xematisma” (a greek term used to deflect evil eye) in the hashtags of your comments, these can even be assigned trigger words to protect you!
